Ulteo
Ulteo is an open source Virtual Desktop infrastructure project based on a Linux distribution. It was created by Gaël Duval [1], who previously created Mandriva Linux.[2]
Ulteo is based on Debian and Ubuntu.[3] The virtual desktop feature allows users to run Linux applications from Microsoft Windows. The Open Virtual Desktop allows corporates to deploy virtualized Linux desktops.

Ulteo was generally received well[citation needed]; an Infoworld review stated that it "is impressive and offers more in the features of the applications than Google Docs."
