Rand Schulman is an American marketing executive, and one of the first practitioners of web analytics.
Schulman is the Chief Marketing Officer at InsideView in San Francisco, California, and has previously served as chief marketing officer of WebSideStory[1], and helped lead that company through its initial public offering. Schulman founded Web Analytics Association and was also the founder and CEO of one of the first software as a service (SaaS) companies, Keylime Software (acquired by Yahoo), in 1997. After that, he served as the as General Manager of Internet Products at Unica Corporation.
Schulman was named as one of the top 100 B-to-B marketing executives by BtoB Magazine in 2005[2]. He is also a principal at Rand Schulman Partners and sits on various corporate boards.
Schulman's past speaking experience includes COMDEX and the Direct Marketing Association. Schulman holds a degree in English from University of the Pacific.
