PFSweb, Inc. (Priority Fulfillment Services) is a multi-channel outsourcing solutions provider specializing in End2End eCommerce, global logistics, order management and fulfillment, inventory management and product warehousing, high-touch customer care, financial services, integration services and interactive marketing services. The company's operation features 7 distribution centers and 4 call centers with locations in Texas, Tennessee, Canada, Belgium, and the Philippines. In 2007, $2.6 billion in client merchandise was shipped, over 4 million customer contacts were made, and fulfillment center square footage was expanded to over 2.5 million.[1]
History
PFSweb’s initial public offering was conducted in December 1999.[2] PFSweb spun off of Daisytek, an office supplies distributor in July 2000.[3] Currently PFSweb operates two subsidiaries in the office supplies distribution segment and online retail market.[4] Supplies Distributors serves as PFSweb’s master distributor of product for InfoPrint Solutions Company and other clients. PFSweb also operates their wholly owned subsidiary eCOST.com, which they acquired in 2005.[5]
In June 2008, PFSweb completed a 1-for-4.7 reverse split of its common stock. The split was carried out in order to remain compliant with NASDAQ’s required $1 per share minimum. Details of the split include 4.7 shares of the company's common stock was combined into one share of common stock.[6] Two weeks later, PFSweb regained compliance to be listed on the NASDAQ.[7]
Clients
PFSweb currently serves over 50 brands including LEGO, Roots Canada Ltd.,Sephora,InfoPrint Solutions Company, Xerox, Riverbed Technology, and Hawker Beechcraft. In 2006, PFSweb became the sole provider of order fulfillment for LEGO’s Direct-to-Consumer segment.[8] In 2008, PFSweb announced a signed agreement with Sephora, a division of Moët Hennessy - Louis Vuitton S.H., to provide customer care management services. [9] Also in 2008, PFSweb announced the launch of an end-to-end solution for Roots Canada Ltd. that features the Demandware eCommerce Platform and integration.[10]
