OpenDD is an open protocol, the draft of which has been developed by Marcus Povey at Curverider Ltd, for data import/export, syndication and live update streaming.
History
OpenDD began in April 2008 out of the need for an import/export data format for Elgg which was both simple to implement and flexible enough to handle data produced by third party plugins for the Elgg platform.[1]
