Lunascape is a web browser developed by Lunascape Corporation in Tokyo, Japan. It is unique in that it contains three rendering engines: Gecko (used in Mozilla Firefox), Webkit (used in Apple Safari and Google Chrome), and Trident (used in Microsoft Internet Explorer).[1] The user can switch between layout engines seamlessly.
History
Lunascape Corporation was founded in August 26, 2004 by Hidekazu Kondo who is also the CEO. In the United States it is based in San José, California in June 2008 [2]. The decision was made because of the global scope of the internet with its 700 million users while Japan has only 70 million users.
