GetPaid is a flexible free software e-commerce solution for the Python-based Plone content management system. GetPaid is an add-on framework to Plone which allows processing credit cards for online payments. It provides solutions for the most common e-commerce use cases out of the box. It was initially released in late 2006.

Development
GetPaid is a community based free software project. It is developed by people/companies from all around the world using the following technologies in order to carry out work in a collaborative fashion as well as to cummunicate:
- mailing lists; those are also carried on Gmane
- an IRC channel (#getpaid) at irc.freenode.net
- a ticketing system
- a software configuration management system
