Bill Sweetman (internet marketer)

Bill Sweetman (born 1965) is the General Manager, Domain Portfolio[1] of Tucows, a Toronto, Ontario based Internet services company. He manages a private portfolio of over 150,000 domain names[2].
Sweetman has worked in the interactive and Internet marketing industry since 1994. Prior to joining Tucows, he was the Vice President, Internet Strategy at MacLaren McCann Direct & Interactive[3].
Sweetman has overseen Internet marketing campaigns for companies such as Alliance Atlantis Communications, Bell Mobility, Harlequin Enterprises, and RBC Royal Bank.
Sweetman has been a speaker[4] at various industry conferences and tradeshows, including the Canadian Marketing Association National Convention & Trade Show[5], BC AIM Direct Marketing Day[6] and DOMAINfest[7]. He is also one of the founders of the Canadian New Media Awards[8], and he has worked as a producer on several Websites, including MultiMediator[9].
Sweetman is a regular contributor to various trade publications and blogs, including One Degree[10], Canadian Marketing Blog[11], and his own Internet marketing blog, Sweetmantra[12].
Sweetman also serves on the Digital Marketing Conference[13] Committee for the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA).
