Wordpress help

I am developing one site with the help of wordpress.But i cant able to put meta tags manually in wordpress while posting..I tried Yoast but it is not comfortable for me...without using plugin i need to do seo in wordpress .. is there any way to do,..?please help me to troubleshoot..Thanks

Meta tags are not as important  as they were in the past when search engines needed a hand to determine  that language  your site was. Google is not taking the mets tags keywords in web ranking and by default, a Wordpress installation does not include the option to add a description or meta tags data. Using a meta tags plugin can help you to have back the meta tags in oyur installation and have more comtrol over the tags to be included in your post.
