It is not just the "importance" of a page that determines how useful it is in determining the rank of the page it links to.
The contents of the linking page will also have an impact.
Ensuring the website has a similar or related topic to the page that is being linked to will help reinforce the subject of that page.
This in turn can help it to be perceived as more relevant to search queries about that topic.

Just follow these steps.

The linking page's domain.
The linking page's inner-page URL.
The linking page's title.
The linking page's meta description.
The linking page's h-tags.
The linking page's content.
The anchor text of the link.
The context around the link.

Inbound links are defined as links from other sites that point to your site. They are also known as backlinks, simply because they refer back to your site. For a link to be considered a backlink by search engines, it must be clickable.
An inbound link has 2 parts:
The link to your page
The anchor text to which it is attached
Therefore just make sure that the content of your web page is top-notch and the redirection page must have a relevant content to your web page.

While having multiple internal links on your website is helpful for relevancy, they won't help you determine what type of inbound or incoming links your site has from other sites.

The columns in the Moz link explorer report show the URL of the websites linking to your page, the anchor text, Moz page authority, and domain authority.

Among the many factors that authorize a domain, SEO off-page and inbound links are those pillars. The updates of Google's algorithms have led to a 'cleaning' in the SERPs of those pages linked from sites that are not friendly to the search engine. That is, those that can be used to make a link-building strategy are not recommended.

Receiving links from sites that in the eyes of Google are not credible or authoritative will lead to our site receiving penalties for 'attracting' that harmful link juice from a domain under suspicion.

Tools to measure the quality of a link

Multiple tools will help us profile the incoming links, but with a basic problem: each will give us a different rating. Majestic SEO, Ahrefs, Moz, Google search console... Each of these tools has its own scale or rating to catalog whether a domain is good or bad for link-building strategies.

Given this heterogeneous panorama, it is best to choose two or three tools and carry out a thoughtful study of all the links that point to your website. You will only need time and (a lot) of patience.

You can use Google Analytics for this work.

The free options usually offer these metrics:

List of backlink URL's
Anchor text of those links
Authority score
The paid options are much more robust. But these SEO tools offer the following, in addition to, the above metrics:

Enhanced background on your backlink profile
Link monitoring over time
More detailed reporting
Breakdowns of anchor text pointing to different pages on your site
Flags for potential bad links
Multitude of extra authority ranking metrics
Ability to tag links and create notes to stay organized
Tag clouds, distributions, graphs, charts, and many other metrics
Many paid inbound link analysis options and SEO tools have free trials so you can see what you'd get for opting in for one of them. You can pick one that is right for your size and needs- most paid options will give you a lot of good data to help you make the right decisions on your backlink profile checker.
