I was wondering if there is any need to start practice on html 5 tags from the seo point of view.

for example the tag <artcile> why i need it?

to let google know that the text arrounds it taken from another source so it will not count as duplicated content which google itself know it already?

and do you think that the major progress of html 5 is only for embbeded movies and audio?

You can start to learn Html 5 now. But It is not urgent for a moment.
There are many browsers which do not support it.
So nobody will use it in the nearest future.

HTML 5 looks amazing.  So much more compatibility I can't wait until it is fully public for use because current HTML seems to be lagging behind quite a bit.
