Autoblogging is good or bad?

Hey guys,
I just went to a forum and read many are using auto blogs and earning money from adsense...
But after searching google for auto blogging, I read auto blogs don't have unique articles, they are copied from others website. And also read about penalising from google if we are using copied contents...
So, is this autoblogging good or bad?
Experience users, please do recommend or suggest or give me some ideas...
