Hi Roy,
I find your points very useful, especially as it comes to number 7 - nowadays people are more likely to just 'take a look' on the article, not reading it (unfotunately, personally I don't like tldr - too long, didn't read - attitude). That's why it is so important to make it SEO useful (with WORDS) and also user friendly (with IMAGES).
