In the e-commerce website put the keywords on every page according to the category listing.Also do the off page SEO for the website.In off page SEO the backlinks have been generated for the website.And because of the backlinks the page ranking in the google are also increases.

For E-commerce website products/service selection is very important. You need search bar to be most active for selection. Make search bar so active that you can provide info about other related products also.

Apart from content, E-Commerce website need more factor to increase their selling like user friendly product page, easy sign-up process, product image, build trust on your products and many more. You can improve that things to increase your sales for e-commerce business. But, I think content is the strong factor, that engage with your customer more than other techniques. Firstly you should do the keyword research so that you can pick the best keywords to start SEO for it. A high competition keyword would require lots of work to boost the rank of any website in Google and if your keyword is less competitive then you won't have to work a lot. But eCommerce website needs to be attractive and user friendly so that online visitors can get their desired product easily.
