Hi everyone,

I've been running in the past years a very strong website, which I would like to keep anonymous.
In the past few days the site has gone down a lot in Google positions, and I assume it's because of Penguin 3.0. The thing is I haven't have any spam backlinks or anything that isn't relevant. The site doesn't have any strange WebMaster Tools messages, and none of the pages have a NoIndex tag, so all the pages should index regularly. Sitemap and robots.txt are set correctly and the site opens fast.

I am really hopeless, I don't know how to regain my positions in Google. What should I do?

Thank you!

The best thing to do in such a situation is to follow the Penguin update guidelines and optimize your website accordingly. You also need to wait till their next update to see the changes in your rankings.

Check your competitors out. Maybe they did something that put them on higher positions...

Create a nice blog network of your own which only you can maintain. Don't pass many outgoing links from there. This is the solution after Penguin 3 update.
